Documenting your baby’s milestone – sitter session!

When you think about documenting your ever-changing baby, I hope the sitter session is on your list! Some parents feel like they can skip over this milestone but so much happens in between the newborn and first birthday sessions. As a momma of 3 and dozens of newborns photographed, it still amazes me how much they change every few months. Documenting the in-between stage where they are sitting up unassited, not yet walking, and are really starting to showcase their personality is worth it!

Alyza’s Sitter Milestone

Miss Alyza is one of my Babies First Year Collective clients. Getting to watch her grow from the newborn session and capturing these milestones has been such a joy!! Sitter Sessions are some of my most favorite times. Baby is able to sit up unassisted at this milestone so it makes for some sweet moments! This family actually traveled from the Kansas City area for each of their sessions (Maternity, Newborn, *now sitter, and soon for the one year cake smash). What an honor!! Dad is in the military so they didn’t mind traveling to me, but gosh… I feel so grateful they chose me out of everyone in the Missouri area for their baby!!

Isn’t she a doll? It’s also the perfect time to get some candid moments of your family and siblings interacting and holding your sweet littlest one. We’ll capture a variety of images from holding the piggies (my personal fave), tummy time, and sitting up of course.
